Apple iPhone 4 Fever! Should I jump in?

 June 24, 2010 might just be the Apple Geek's most awaited date this year as this marks the official launch of Apple's iPhone 4.

What's so awesome about it you say? Ah, iPhone 4... how do I love thee? Let me count the ways:

1. It's green. According to Apple, the iPhone 4's casing has been designed not only to be tough (it's made with the same materials as the windshields of helicopters and bullet trains) but it is also recyclable! Momma Earth will surely love it!

2. Its display is clearer and crisper than ever, with what Apple calls its retina display. A real eye candy that's bound to capture your attention for hours on end. 

3. It is the thinnest smartphone currently in existence with a svelte width of only 9.3 millimeters. Now that is definitely sexy!

4. Apple has designed a whole new processor called the Apple A4 which would allow users who are extremely busy individuals to perform multitasking without draining its battery easily. 

5. With its gyro+accelerometer feature, you can satisfy the gamer in you and indulge in more motion sensing games. Say hello to 3d motion gaming!

6. Although there are a lot of phones that boast of more mega pixels, iPhone 4 will still have a 5mp camera with a built in LED flash. What is going to excite you about it is that Apple has thrown in a front facing camera so you can take pictures of yourself (is that vanity?) and FaceTime calls for when you want to connect with your sweetie!

7. In line with making FaceTime calls, iPhone 4 has two built in mic with one diong the usual calling and voice activated functions and the other one situated at the top near the front cam.

8. All this with the same touch screen magic that has made us fall in love with the Apple series!

Are you excited? I know I am. I just wish I can afford it! AT&T is currently offering the phone to its subscribers at $199 and $299 for the iPhone 16gb and 32gb respectively with a 2 year agreement. That's definitely going to be a dent to my bank account!
